The brand was founded by young couple, Yvette and Fred Prysquel as a result of Fred’s trip to Southern California where a special pair of swim shorts caught his eye. But these weren’t just any pair of swim shorts, they were much roomier and more relaxed than the typical budgie smugglers that were popular on European beaches. Fred brought the design back to France where Yvette brought his vision to life. The shorts were a hit and have been a seaside staple ever since. In order to keep their impact on the planet to a minimum, the brand places value on craftsmanship (boasting a manufacturing process of over 30 steps) to ensure their pieces have a long life with timeless designs that hold up year after year.
