Hi Daniele, where will you escape to this summer?
This summer, I've planned a quick getaway to the French Riviera, a captivating journey through the Cyclades islands and afterwards I'll embark on an island hopping voyage in my fav Aeolian Islands, exploring Salina, Filicudi, and Panarea. It promises to be a summer filled with sea escapades, breathtaking sunsets and a lot of slow relax.
Who and what will you bring with you?
I'll be setting off with a group of friends eager to escape the hustle of Milan and dive into discovery. Alongside me will be my go-to camera to capture every moment and of course a blend of curiosity.

What are your dream destinations for a perfect summer getaway?
My favorite destinations for a perfect summer getaway are undoubtedly islands. There's a unique magic about islands: pristine spaces, tranquility and a deep connection with nature. Some of my top summer spots include Menorca, Lanzarote, Ibiza, Pantelleria, Capri, Milos and Hydra, each with its own distinct charm and relaxed vibe. Besides that I can’t not mention Puglia, which holds a special place for me as a go-to destination tied to my family and roots.
What is your most precious summer memory?
One of my most precious summer memory is a “chasing – the – sun – moment” I had in Menorca. One evening, I wanted to experience the sunset from the most hidden spot on the island. I took a car and headed towards a little-known cove, tucked away between cliffs and accessible only via a winding trail and without any kind of connection and signal. When I arrived, the sun was already beginning its descent towards the horizon, and the sky was bathing in shades of warm red and orange. I sat on a rock overlooking the bay, with a breathtaking and deserted view. That feeling of being alone with the sunset, away from the hectic world and surrounded by untouched beauty, was an experience of pure contemplation and a moment of deep connection with myself.

In my summer suitcase, the essentials are a blend of practicality and indulgence. My always go-to sunnies and a versatile swimsuit for days spent by the water and a lightweight, stylish cover-up for effortless transitions from beach to evening. I always bring with me a good SPF, at least one of my fav design magazines and of course the iconic "parole crociate" (crossword puzzles) for those lazy afternoons.
